먼저 "wonder"라는 단어는 명사로는 ‘경이로움, 놀라움’, 동사로는 ‘궁금해하다’를 의미합니다.
(First of all, the word "wonder" means 'surprise' as a noun, and means 'to wonder' as a verb.)

[주의] may well + 동사원형은 "~이 당연하다" 의 의미이지만, may(might) as well + V은 "차라리 ~하는 것이 낫다"라는 뜻이고, may(might) as well A as B는 "B보다 차라리 A가 낫다"의 의미입니다. = A rather than B. 
*may as well + V로, 동사는 반드시 원형이 와야 합니다.
