[Leave nothing to be desired.]
→ 더할 나위 없이 좋다. (= It couldn't be better.)
[Leave nothing to be desired]는 '매우 훌륭하다'라는 뜻입니다. 반면에, [Leave much(something) to be desired]는 '무언가가 전혀 좋지 않거나 충분히 좋지 않다'는 의미로 사용됩니다.
("Leave nothing to be desired" means "To be excellent". On the other hand, "Leave much(something) to be desired" is used to say that something is not very good at all or is not close to being good enough.)
다른 예로 설명해 봅시다. (Let me explain with another example). [This plan leaves nothing to be desired.]

• S: The plan, V: leaves, O: nothing입니다. 그죠?
"to be desired"가 'nothing'을 수식하는 부정사의 형용사적 용법입니다. 당연히 'nothing' 자체가 바랄 수는 없으니 수동(be desired)으로 사용 되어져야 하겠지요. 'nothing'을 'much' 또는 'a lot'으로 바꾸면, 당연히 반대의 의미가 나오겠네요. 즉 "요구 되어지는 것이 많다, 아쉬운 점이 많다"의 의미가 나옵니다.
(The subject is "The plan", the verb is "leaves", and the object is "nothing", right? "To be desired" is an adjectival use of the infinitive modifying "nothing." Naturally, since we can't desire "nothing," it must be used passively. Replacing "nothing" with "much" or "a lot" would naturally yield the opposite meaning. That is, it conveys the sense of "there are many demands, many regrets.")
• This book leaves nothing to be desired.
→ 이 책은 부족한 점이 하나도 없다.
• This book leaves much to be desired.
→ 이 책은 부족한 점이 너무 많다.
• This book leaves something to be desired.
→ 이 책은 부족한 점이 무언가 있다.

• That's perfect. or That leaves nothing to be desired.
→ 완벽하네요. 또는 더 바랄 게 전혀 없어요.
• This food leaves nothing to be desired. [= This food is excellent]
→ 음식은 흠잡을 데가 전혀 없다.
• As an economic arrangement, it left nothing to be desired.
→ 경제적 합의로서 그것은 아무것도 부족함을 남기지 않았다.
• We're sure (that) the quality leaves nothing to be desired.
→ 우리는 그 품질이 더할 나위 없이 좋다고 확신합니다.
* be sure that + 절(be sure of + 구) ~을 확신하다.
* be sure to + V: 틀림없이 ~하다. (= be bound to, make sure that ~, make sure to)

* have (nothing) to do with. ~ 관 관련이 전혀 없다.(=be unrelated to, be irrelevant to)

• Imagine if your problem was nothing to do with sickness or old age - if you had a non-organic mental health problem, for instance, or a long term problem with your life that you couldn't sort out, such as if your partner died before the immortality treatment became available and you were left without him or her and it ended up lasting for thousands of years.
