[In terms of the rapid changes in the world, we also have to change our ways of thinking in that the world is changing rapidly.
* In terms of = in view of: ~면에서, ~관점에서, ~을 고려하면(considering, take into ~consideration). *our ways of thinking:
[In that 과 Now that]의 차이점]
1. [in that]
(= in the sense that, in the fact that).
[As explained earlier, [in that] is used as a conjunction rather than a relative pronoun, so the subsequent clause is complete, and it is used when supplementing a specific reason or basis for the previous sentence. It means “in the sense of” or “in the sense of”. (= in the sense that, in the fact that). It is usually, but not always, placed in the middle of a sentence because it functions as a conjunction. Please memorize it like an idiom.]
[I will explain this with an example.]
[In that: ~라는 점에서 (= in the fact that, in the sense that)]
• The new plan is better [in that] it's more cost-effective.
• He's a lucky man [in that] he has such a supportive family.
• He was fortunate [in that] he had good teachers.
• The book is unique [in that] it offers a new perspective on history.
• This approach is effective [in that] it addresses the root cause of the problem.
• In terms of(= In view of) the rapid changes in the world, we also have to change our ways of thinking [in that] the world is changing rapidly.
2. [Now that]: ~이니까, ~이므로(since)
[now that]은
[(now that) is used when the meaning of the sentence is related to the passage of time and explains the reasons and results of new situations and resulting changes. Please note that this is usually, but not always, used in the beginning of the sentence.]
• Now that I’ve graduated, I need to find a job.
• Now that the semester is over, I can finally relax.
• I'll have more free time now that my kids have started school.
• Now that you've finished your work, you can relax.
• Now that spring is here, the trees are budding.
[Looking at the example sentence above, the word "Now" means time, and [Now that] is related to the flow of time, explaining the reason and change depending on the change in time and the resulting situation. Do you understand?]

[Okey!! If you have studied up to this point, please try solving the problem below. (This is a TOEIC past question. Please try to solve it.]

[ ] traffic data has been further analyzed, the transportation department can begin building an overpass on Highway 13.
(A) Now that (B) In order that (C) For that (D) In that
* has been further analyzed:
→ 정답은 (A)입니다.
• so that S+ V = in order that S+V
= so as to + V
= in order to +V: ~하기 위하여.
• so ~ that S+V: 너무 ~해서 ~ 하다.
