대학1학년때 내 인생 처음으로 소개팅을 받았다.
이른 아침부터 나는 기대에 부풀어 아주 분주했다.
머리를 두번씩이나 감고 멋있고 유행하는 옷으로 갈아 입고...
화장하는데 많은 시간을 투자하고 그랬었다.
커피숍에 들어섰을때 한 남자를 제외하곤 아무도 없었기 때문에...
나는 그가 바로 내 그(짝)라는 것을 즉지 알아차렸다.
키는 보통이었고 체중도 보통인것 같았고 얼굴도 뭐 그다지 나쁘지 않았다.
하지만 나는 그가 입고 있는 옷을 참을수가 없었다
하얀 셔츠와 검은바지는 너무 타이트해서 80년대 록가수(?)처럼 보였다
게다가 마법사의 신발같은 뾰족한 신발을 신고 있었다
집으로 당장 돌아가고 싶었다.
그순간..그의 다정하고 부드러운 목소리가 나를 머물게끔 했던가 같다
그는 남자답게 말을 건넸다
"당신에게 많은 호감을 느낍니다"
난 기쁨과 부끄러움으로 얼굴이 빨개젔었다.
정말 좋은 하루였다.
When I was a freshman, I had a blind date for the first time in my life.
Early in the morning I hurried with expectation and anxiety.
I washed my hair two times, and dressed in fashionable clothes,
and spent much time making up. When I entered the coffee shop,
I immediately noticed that he is my blind date
because there was no one else except him.
He was average tall and weight, and his face was not bad.
But I could not endure his dress.
His white shirt and black trousers were too tight
so he looked like a rocker in the nineteen-eighties.
Besides he wore pointed shoes like a witch's one.
I felt like going back home.
At that moment, his gentle and deep voice held me to stay. He said manly,
“I take a fancy to you”. I was flushed with pleasure and shyness.
So we had a nice day.
